Children's Summer Reading 

 

  • Mother Goose on the Loose: Mother Goose on the Loose is a special Story Time for children ages 12 months to 24 months. The interactive program highlights traditional nursery rhymes, songs, music, movement and rhythm. This program is designed as a one-on-one lap-sit program for the child and caregiver to enjoy together.

  • Toddler Time: Toddler Time is for children ages 2 to 3 years old. Child and caregiver will enjoy stories, movement, songs, and rhymes. Toddler Time is designed to incorporate and emphasize the Pennsylvania Learning Standards for Early Childhood as they apply to infants and toddlers.

  • Story Hour: Story Hour is for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Child and caregiver are invited to enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and art activities during our Story Hour program. Story Hour is designed to incorporate and emphasize the Pennsylvania Learning Standards for Early Childhood as they apply to pre-kindergarten children.

 

  • Lego Club: Lego Club is for children ages 6-12. Legos are provided for this free program. Children will build independently or with friends to create their own masterpiece. All creations will be displayed in the library following the program. 

 

  • Super Saturday: Each month, children 12 and under along with their caregiver are invited to enjoy crafts, music science or stories at the library. Each program will be different but will focus on an art or science theme.
