We at the Altoona Library support the Lights On Afterschool Initiative and its powerful message that millions more kids need quality after school programs. "Every day across this country, afterschool programs are keeping kids safe, inspiring them to learn, and helping working families. Given the economy, it is more important than ever that we sustain the quality afterschool programs we have and support new ones.
