Well met everyone! The Altoona Area Public Library is seeking 7 brave adventurers to join our level 1 introductory Dungeons and Dragons session. No prior experience needed.
Join us one day a week for six weeks as we venture through The House on Water’s Edge on Thursdays from September 23rd – October 28th, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM!
In this adventure we need you to discover the source of all the strange local legends surrounding the house and put a stop to them for the good of the whole village. Mystery, intrigue, and glory awaits you, will you answer the call!?

Free dice will be provided to all participants! This program is for Ages 12-18.

Bonding Over Books is held virtually on Google Meet on the 4th Monday of every month at 6pm AND the 4th Wednesday of every month at 10:30am.

Teens can join Ms. Rachel after school to design and paint with tissue paper. Teens will learn to use a combination of bleeding tissue paper and water to soak the color into the watercolor paper. Then will use finishing techniques with sharpies, mod podge and glitter.

Attention Teens or parents/caregivers of teens: the library is now offering a Teen Book Club to be held outside of the AAPL 5th avenue facility. Topic for this month will be “Love is Love”.
