Welcome to the AAPL adult monthly Shelf Indulgence Book Club to meet February 25 at 10am! Our book club is a little different from your normal book clubs. We will give you a topic, genre, or book pace along with a list of books you can choose from. The idea is to open you up to books you have not read before and to add to your TBR list based on other patrons’ reviews. Slimetastic Wednesday for Teens – February 22 at 3:30pm – teens are invited to join us after school at the library to make SLIME! Teens will be able to pick what color for their slime and be hands-on in making it. Bags will be provided for teens to take the slime home. Kokeshi Dolls are traditional Japanese wooden dolls that were created in the Edo period. Learn more about these intriguing dolls with our hands-on Japan through the Arts program on February 21 at 5:30pm. Take & Make: Beeswax Wraps – starting February 21. Beeswax wraps are a reusable alternative to plastic wrap that you can use to pack your lunches or store leftovers. This kit includes everything you need to make your own at home! Pick up your free kit starting February 21 at the adult circulation desk, while supplies last. No registration necessary.

Bring out your creative side in Paint Space! Held on February 18 at 1:30pm, this Paint Space is a one-session program where participants will be given a beginner-level subject to paint while following along with a YouTube video. All supplies are provided and participants can take their work home at the end of the class. The class is for ages 13 and up and the cost is $10 due at the beginning of class.
