Food Through the Ages

May 3 @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Have you ever wondered what the Pharaohs ate while planning monuments? What George Washington dined on while planning his daring battles, or even why ice cream is our go to summer treat? Then come join us here at the Altoona Area Public Library and sample Food Through the Ages! The First Tuesday of each month from 6:00PM to 7:00PM come experience a historical presentation on our food topic for the month, followed by a cooking demonstration. This Month’s topic will be a jelly recipe from Nostradamus himself! Samples and recipes will be given out at the end of the program for all attendees to enjoy! Registration and a $3.00 fee is required. Register by calling 946-0417 ext 125 or register online now at https://forms.gle/3y46ug2rPdngLnKZ6

In an effort to protect the health and safety of our patrons and staff, adults and children over the age of 2 are encouraged to wear masks when attending any library programs.
