Your favorite stuffed animal is invited to a special sleepover at the library! Bring your stuffy to the library Youth Room no later than 5pm on Thursday, March 21st. Your stuffed animal will enjoy an entire day of special activities and fun library hijinks on Friday. Then stop back on Saturday, March 23rd to pick up your friend and see what silly adventures they had. Each stuffed friend will come back with a book chronicling their adventures and a special gift for their human! No pre-registration is required!

The Blair County Conservation District announced their annual poster contest with the theme of May the Forest Be With You! Students in grades K-12 are invited to the Altoona Area Public Library to work on their contest submissions and get the chance to see their art displayed as part of the national conservation outreach initiative.
