The First Tuesday of each month from 6:00PM to 7:00PM come experience a historical presentation on our food topic for the month, followed by a cooking demonstration. Does the cold winter weather have you looking for a change in scenery? Then come join us on January 28th from 3:30PM to 4:30PM and take a trip through the history of the Land of the Nile! Learn about Egyptian History, monuments, and receive a gift once reserved for only the Pharaohs. Each participant will learn to write their name in hieroglyphics and inscribe it into a stone tablet to keep! Rocks and Minerals is a 4 week science unit where we will explore the similarities and differences between many samples. We will perform tests similar to geologists’ field tests to determine hardness, luster, streak, and other identifying properties.
