MOTHER GOOSE ON THE LOOSE
Ages 12 – 24 months
A unique one-on-one lap-sit program for children 12-24 months and caregiver. (bring bag with scarf and bells if you have one)
Mondays at
9:30 am and 10:30 am

Join us for a fun-filled morning working with OSMO, a tactile learning experience! Use IPads and the Osmo system (provided) to explore a world of interactive games from making pizzas to tanagrams to dress-up characters!

This program is suitable for children ages 4-12.

Mr. Peabody, the most accomplished canine in the world, and his boy, Sherman, use a time machine called the Wabac to embark on outrageous adventures. However, when Sherman takes the Wabac without permission to impress his friend Penny (Ariel Winter), he accidentally rips a hole in the universe and causes havoc with world history. It’s up to Mr. Peabody to mount a rescue and prevent the past, present and future from being permanently altered.

Build and use a pulley, an inclined plane, a wheel and axle, and more with Lakeshore Learning’s Simple Machines Activity Lab. Adults must stay with their children and work together on the projects.

November is National Novel Writing Month! In the spirit of NaNoWriMo, join us for a 4 week creative writing course designed for kids age 8-12. We will explore different methods for coming up with story ideas, creating colorful characters, building the world of your story, and more! This class is BYOWU (Bring Your Own Writing Utensil) with everything from pencil and paper to laptops and typewriters permitted and encouraged!

This year’s Read for the Record book is Evelyn Del Rey Is Moving Away. We will be partnering with the Family Resource Center for a special reading of the book followed by activities. Each family will receive a copy of the book to take home!

Join us for a Spellbound Book Bonanza this October! Sponsored by Beauty, Brains, and Heart & Ms. Pennsylvania USA Ambassador 2020, this fa-BOO-lous HOWLoween event is geared towards kids aged 4-12. There will be games, crafts, and a costume contest with trophy rewards! Each child will take home a treat bag and a free book! Two sessions available, 11-12:30 & 1:30-3:00 PM
